Alex and Haley

Alex and Haley Albertson both started their careers as public school music teachers while teaching lessons and classes on the side. When their lesson studios continued to grow, they decided to become full time music studio owners.

Maple Music Studios is everything they’ve dreamed of and more! In addition to lessons and classes at MMS, Alex still gets to support school music programs with percussion and marching band and Haley still gets to teach in the classroom part-time at Phoenix Academy.

All students deserve high-quality music learning experiences and we are proud to provide that at Maple Music Studios and beyond!

  • "I took private percussion lessons with Alex for about 4 years starting in my freshman year of high school. With his help, I was able to become a two year Iowa All-Stater and member of the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps. I am now pursuing a degree in percussion performance at the University of Northern Iowa. Whether a student is ready to get serious about percussion or is just looking to learn a little bit more about how to hold four-mallets, I would highly recommend lessons with Alex Albertson and Maple Music!

She has learned so much and loves playing the piano! I now also take my youngest two daughters to Music Together with Haley, and they love it!
